Rayleigh co-founder shares experiences with students

On November 24, Rayleigh Co-founder and COO Dane George, participated in a panel titled “So you want to work at a startup?” The Dal IdeaHub event took place in the Emera Idea Building at Dalhousie University. The panel focused on sharing with students what it’s like to work at a startup. 

The topics covered during the talk included what startups look for when hiring, culture at a startup versus a large company, work-life balance, and what students who are interested in working at a startup can do to get involved.

Dane was joined on the panel by former Rayleigh co-op student Kiera Chang. The other half of the panel was made up of Hamed Hanafi, founder of NovaResp and mechanical engineering co-op student Lauren Remey.
