Rayleigh receives $1.3 million in SDTC funding

On February 7, Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) announced that Rayleigh Solar Tech has been awarded $1.3 million dollars. This funding comes from SDTC’s Clean Tech fund. We will use this funding to further optimize and scale our existing perovskite solar technology.

Optimizing and scaling our technology will allow us to create collaborations in a number of industry verticals including electric vehicles, building integrated photovoltaic systems, mass transit, smart objects, and more.

This funding will also support the addition of new talent to our team and will allow us to invest in additional equipment for our pilot manufacturing facility in Dartmouth.

Rayleigh is one of 16 innovative cleantech companies across Canada who received SDTC funding on Monday. As graduates of SDTC’s SEED fund, we are pleased with the continued support from SDTC.
